The finance council is to assist the pastor in the wise stewardship of the material gifts entrusted by God to the parish in support of the mission of the parish and broader church. The pastor gives serious consideration to the advice and wisdom of the finance council especially concerning major changes in the operations of the parish. Through prayer and dialogue decisions are made for the good of the entire parish.
