Get started on Hallow (Free version)

  1. Download the Hallow app to your device

  2. Sign up for your account using Google, Apple, or any email

  3. Follow the steps to setting up your account

  4. Once you see trial options - CLICK the X in the top right corner​​

  5. You are all set in the app (move on to the section below)

Join the SJB Community Page!

  1. Navigate to the bottom of your screen and click the Community tab

  2. Click the "Get Started" button

  3. Fill out the remaining account information and continue

  4. At the Friends & Family step, click "skip" in the top right (you can add friends at any point later on)

  5. Look up our zip code - 54313 and select St. John the Baptist Parish (you'll see our logo)

  6. Finally, click join and continue!

  7. Start exploring our page - exciting content will be added for Advent on December 1st!

Get access to all premium content on Hallow
Redeem 365 days for $1.00

  1. Go to https://hallow.com/parish/

  2. Type "54313" into the search bar near the bottom of your screen

  3. Select St. John the Baptist and hit continue

  4. ​Choose a payment method and fill in your details

  5. ​Redeem 1 year for $1.00

  • Do I need to pay for anything?​

    • NO. If you just want to access what St. John's puts on the community page, you do not need to pay for a premium account nor follow the ​steps to redeeming the $1.00 trial.

  • What is a Community Page?

    • It is a section of the Hallow app that is similar to a social media platform. In partnership with Hallow, St. John's is able to publish premium content specifically for our parishioners to access for free! There are a number of things you can do on our community page like-

      • Post prayer intentions & pray for others intentions

      • Participate in the challenges we post!

      • Find, add and chat with friends/family members
      • Join small groups (once we get this aspect up and running!)

  • I already pay for a Hallow subscription, can I switch to the $1 trial?

    • If you already pay for a Hallow subscription, please wait until it expires to take advantage of the St. John's $1 trial. 

    • We DO NOT recommend canceling your current subscription, as Hallow does not pro-rate (won't refund the cost for the remaining time left on your subscription). 

    • Joining the community page is free for everyone whether or not you have a subscription or not!

Troubleshooting:

  • Don't see the community button at the bottom of your app -

    • Go to the app store, and make sure the Hallow app is fully updated! The most recent version of the app will show a bar across the bottom with buttons for Home, Search, Bible, Community, and Me.

  • Multiple accounts/Forgot what email you used -

    • Go to the "Me" button in the bottom right of the app. Then click the "setting wheel" in the top right. This will show you what email you are currently logged into!​​​
