Receiving God’s Love Through Prayer
Take a step away from the busyness of everyday life and spend a day deepening your relationship with Christ right at St. John’s. This year, the Connecting with Christ Retreat is designed to help you encounter God’s love in a personal and meaningful way through prayer.
Look forward to keynote speakers, Lisa Christiansen, and the opportunity to choose from a variety of breakout sessions, allowing you to explore different prayer styles and practices that can enrich your spiritual life long after the retreat ends.
The retreat also includes time for Eucharistic Adoration, small group discussion, and quiet reflection—creating space to listen, share, and respond to what God is doing in your heart. Whether you are new to prayer or seeking to renew your prayer life, this retreat is for anyone longing to grow closer to Christ.
The retreat will take place from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM and includes lunch.
(For individuals 18+) All are welcome—come as you are and allow God to meet you with His love.

Christ Renews His Parish (CRHP) is a powerful weekend retreat experience that invites parishioners to encounter Christ in a deeper, more personal way—and to build lasting connections within our parish community.
CRHP is centered on renewal: renewal of faith, renewal of relationships, and renewal of parish life. Through witness talks given by fellow parishioners, small group discussion, prayer, reflection, and the Sacraments, participants are invited to open their hearts to God’s presence and action in their lives.
This retreat offers a welcoming and supportive environment where participants can reflect on their faith journey, share their experiences, and listen to how God is working in the lives of others. Many who attend describe CRHP as a life-giving experience that strengthens their relationship with Christ and helps them feel more connected to the parish. What a perfect way to enhance your Lent this year!
CRHP is not a program or class—it is an experience. It is open to adults of the parish who are seeking spiritual renewal, whether they feel close to God or are simply curious and wanting to grow.
