RELIEF DRIVE

2023 DROP OFF DATES

8 AM - 12 PM

St. John the Baptist Social Concerns Committee and Youth Ministry will be collecting items in the Ministry Center (old church) to help Sacred Heart Southern Missions again this year. Please donate new or gently used items that are clean and in good condition (see the list below!)

If you prefer, monetary donations are also accepted. Please make checks payable to “Sacred Heart Missions”.

DONATION LIST

  • New or gently used children’s clothing & shoes

  • Children’s books & board games

  • Diapers

  • School supplies: pencils, pens, glue sticks, scissors, binders, markers, art supplies, construction paper

  • Towels, washcloths

  • Personal hygiene items: toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, shampoo

  • Bedspreads, blankets, sheets, sleeping bags

  • General household items: pots, pans, dishes, glasses, silverware, knives, cooking utensils, toasters, microwaves, bowls

  • Brooms, vacuums

  • Tools, rakes, shovels

  • Area rugsair mattresses

  • Fans, heaters

  • Folding tables and chairs

  • End tablescoffee tables

  • Recliners, sofas

  • Lamps

  • Small beds

  • Wheelchairs, walkers

  • Sport balls 

If possible, please wait until 8:00 AM on April 29th to drop off large items, such as furniture so they can be loaded first into the Schneider truck for transport down to Mississippi.

NOT ACCEPTED

  • Damaged or non-working items

  • Mirrors

  • Carpets

  • DesksFile cabinets

  • Mini blinds

  • Traditional mattresses

  • Adult books

  • Computer monitors or televisions
