Prayer to St. Joseph

Good St. Joseph,
As you led the Holy Family, watch over our families.
Help our family and all families to know and share God’s love.
In our family relationships, may we find healing and seek to be holy.
May our fathers help us to become faithful disciples of Jesus who share our love for Him.
As foster father of Jesus, watch over all who serve as spiritual fathers.
In a special way, bless our Holy Father, our Bishop, and our priests.
May they follow your humble example in their fatherly care for the people of God, the Church.
With Mary, you raised Jesus the High Priest.
You know our need for priests.
Please raise up good and holy priests from our families to serve the people of our diocese.
May our children and grandchildren hear and say “yes” to the call of Jesus, just as you and Mary did.
Good St. Joseph, pray for us.

Christ Renews His Parish Welcome Weekend

"Christ Renews His Parish Welcome Weekend" is a process designed to bring members of our parish together in Christ. It is a renewal weekend, where you can experience a personal spiritual renewal and an abundance of love in Christian community. Parishioners share with one another the ways they have found meaning, hope, peace and love in their lives. The experience is personal, inspirational, and fulfilling. Many participants feel that the weekend experience has been among the most powerful and positive of their lives.

This is the perfect way to establish a stronger bond with God and fellow parishioners. The atmosphere is casual and you will begin friendships that will last a lifetime. There are two sessions, one for men and the other for women. The two weekends are not mixed sessions and allow for a husband and wife to attend on the different weekends and still attend to family needs.

To date, 500 St. John's parishioners have received this Christ Renews His Welcome Weekend. Many of them have shared how more connected they feel to the parish and what a wonderful opportunity it is to get to know their fellow parishioners. The weekend is held here at St. John's and is led by parishioners who have made CRHP Welcome Weekend here before.            Welcome CRHP Registration Form

This Man is You is an interactive men's program focused on the development of male leadership in the modern world. It combines the best research from science with the teachings of the Catholic faith and the wisdom of the saints to develop the vision of authentic men capable of transforming themselves, their families and greater society. The Fight of Faith equips and enables men to engage in the cosmic, spiritual battle raging in our day. Authentic masculine identities will emerge to inspire heroic lives of service to a calling greater than ourselves. The Fight of Faith is uniquely both contemplative and practical. There are new speakers each week. All men are welcome to attend one or all of the sessions. Meeting times are Thursday mornings at 6:00 a.m. - 7:30 a.m.
