Students are expected to complete 4 core courses and 2 elective courses within their 9th and 10th grade, plus attend 2 retreats (1 in each grade), a community service experience, and all large group events. Students should take 3 courses in each grade, so they don’t cram all 6 courses into one year.  There are four blocks when courses are offered during the school year and one during the summer.  Only 1 course can be taken in the summer block.  During the school year courses are on Wednesday from 7:30-8:45pm in the Ministry Center and school. Summer courses run the first two weeks of Howard-Suamico’s Summer School in the morning and evening. Attendance for each session in each course is required.  If more than one session is missed no credit will be given for the course.  The variety of courses will vary from year-to-year.  Students can begin their Confirmation preparation once the 6 courses are completed and they are in their junior year of high school.
